Commodity
Market Order Types
Placing
a commodity order involves a thorough understanding of the markets,
specifications and parameters of the order. Along with the type
of order and its execution. All of which are interconnected.
Since an erroneous order can prove expensive, it is therefore crucial
that everything be done and reviewed with a sense of scrunity to eliminate
any errors or miscalculations before entry. This
makes the commodity broker the person to consult with, someone who
you should clearly not hessitate to discover some greater depth of
working knowledge from.
Not all exchanges are in the practice of accepting all types of orders.
In fact, some type(s) of orders may not be accepted at certain exchanges.
Important - market orders are the first type to be filled on the trading
floor, followed by stop orders which are then followed by limit orders.
