The National Futures Association (NFA)
In
essence,
the National Futures Association, or the 'NFA', offers
a Background Affiliation Status Information Center (BASIC), where investors
can check on a firms registration status and actions taken.
They
are a self-regulatory organization of the United States futures industry
created
in 1982.
NFA houses
a learning center for trading information, dispute resolutions
and a place to file complaints.
